Did you know that since the creation of Local 83 we have regularly given back to our community? Our members take great pride in giving back to those we serve.
We have regularly provided Santa and gifts to the residents of Kansas Neurological Institute (KNI) for several years through our KNI Christmas Party.
We also have given monetary and manpower support to other charitable organizations throughout the city. With the help of you, our citizens, we are most proud of contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). With the generous donations given through the “ help fill the boot ” campaign each year thousands of dollars are raised in one weekend to benefit the MDA.
